Seniors' Christmas Party

We were pleased to be part of the Shire of Roebourne's celebrations for its Senior Citizens again in 2006. A small group of 'our seniors' went down to the Bowling Club a little earlier to assist with decorations and generally get things ready.

Maddi introduced us and got the Concert going. We sang "Spirit Of The Sky" first to get everybody's feet tapping.

Joe then introduced Shelby, who got to 'strut her stuff' treating us to a re-run of her Dampier Idol "Superstar" performance.

Then we got the bells and reindeer happening for "Jingle Bell Rock".

The crowd was very appreciative.

Shona kindly stepped in for Ashleigh to assist Chiara with the beginning of "Silent Night". It was nice to see people in the audience joining in too.

To conclude our little Concert Mrs O'Shea and the rest of the children joined us in singing John Lennon's "So This Is Christmas".

The Senior children then distributed the handmade gifts and cards and these were very well received.
