~ Father's Day Choir Performance ~

We prepared two musical pieces for Father's Day, David Bowie's "Space Oddity", which we knew needed a quiet indoor venue and the quirky "My Dad". Chantelle introduced the first song as it was her idea to keep it for this special occasion. It's really quite a sad ballad, as Major Tom is doomed to drift in space forever after telling Ground Control to tell his wife how much he loved her. The kids went on a 'space walk' as the song came to its end.

Our "Love Ya Dad" rosettes looked terrific!

Ryan introduced our second song, with two kids bragging over whose Dad was best. Chloe and Bradley took the lead vocals and a beaut job they did too! The rest of the Choir 'argued' over their dads in the background.

We think our parents really enjoyed it and at the end we gave our Dads their rosettes.
