~Year 7 Graduation ~

The Year 7s had their Graduation evening in the very swish Hamersley Room at Peninsula Palms. The Choir arrived first and stood quietly to await the arrival of their 'big buddies'.

 It's a big night, not just for the children but for their parents too, and for some it's the end of their association with Dampier Primary School.

Mrs O'Shea announced their arrival and we all gave them a warm round of applause as they entered the room. And, didn't they look resplendent in their finest clothes!

We chose the old Carpenters classic, "We've Only Just Begun" as our Graduation song. Kiara, Isabelle and Shelby provided the solo vocals:

Then we all joined in for the final chorus and verse. It's a lovely song and I think we caused a few tears.

At the end of our song, we wished them well and left them to enjoy their 'big night out'.
