Year 3 Dampier Idol Heat

We had to wait for the second week for our Heat and boy, was there an air of excitement about the place. Jamie was our first act and she sang Casey Chamber's song "Pony", complete with a bit of yodelling and a dance step. She looked fantastic in her cowgirl outfit.

Our resident cool dudes, Alex and Thomas, then sang "Numb" - no problem hearing their voices and they even managed some clever 'parts' singing. You looked great boys!

Luci followed them with two songs on the keyboard. The first, the very sweet "Sleeping", to which she sang as well and then the boppy "Alma Mater Blues". Luci looked terrific and was absolutely at home on the keyboard.

Macie then presented her gymnastics routine to "Move It' and boy, didn't she do that! She showed her versatility by doing some work with hoops and skipping ropes, too. Beaut job, Macie!

The final act was Luci  playing keyboard and Jamie singing "Amazing Grace" with some tricky vocal work in the middle section. Well done, girls!

Once again, it was a very hard decision for the judges. Mrs Nicholson announced the decision at the Assembly and it all came down to that very important criteria: Entertainment Value. Congratulations Macie!

But you all did really well guys. We're so proud of you!
