~ Mrs Bain's
Farewell ~
At
the end of Term 3, we needed to say another sad farewell, this time to Mrs Bain and family. Janet
has been a supportive parent, a positive community member and a willing
and innovative teacher for many years now. As she has spent so much time
with the Year 3s, both this year and last, it was fitting that they
prepared and made
this simple, yet heartfelt presentation to her on behalf of the whole
school:
Mrs Bain Caring, kind, active, teacher Mother of Andy and Tyler Lover of good children being quiet and making connections between people Who feels happiest when she's reading to kids, especially Roald Dahl
books Who needs a break
every now and then Who gives us a lovely smile whenever she sees us Who fears children getting hurt so she works on the crosswalk Who would like to see us
playing and speaking nicely to each other always Resident of Dampier but will soon be leaving us Teacher and friend.

Mrs Bain, we applaud you!

Maddison and Jack then presented Mrs Bain with a hand-made 'Memories of
Dampier' gift and a very 'special' card.
Everyone joined in
the hug:
We'll miss you, Mrs
Bain!
