"Techno World" Assembly

Our second Assembly for the year was in WALNA Week. After  all our serious work on Robotics in Term 2, we decided to take a more light hearted look at the "Techno World" we live in. Mitchell and Emily were our presenters and a fine job they did too!

We performed a song using rapping and rhythm. Brennan was the DJ and just take a look at some of those costumes - thanks Mums and Dads!

We presented our chapter of the Cheekidna story a little differently, with individual readers providing the character voices. Leighton was the narrator.

Brennan and Leighton were the Merit Award winners from our class.

Then we performed a Choral Speaking piece called, "Hi, my name is Joe." It was very difficult keeping a straight face throughout.

Finally we had our Community Song, "All Star" from Shrek. Leighton, Brianna and Kirsten made up a little dance for everyone to watch while we sang.

It was a great Assembly. Thanks Mr Lipscombe for helping to solve a technical hitch!
