On Thursday 7 May, the students from the straight Year 3 class through to Year 6 hosted their beloved Mums for an afternoon tea and togetherness time. Staff would love to thank all the busy mums who took time out of their day to come, relax and enjoy being pampered by their children. The afternoon was kicked off by a performance by the choir and a short recorder piece by Year 5s.
Following this, students and their mothers were able to have a Mum and me photograph; they made origami and loom band designs together. Mums had the opportunity to relax with a hand massage (students were given lessons and tips to prepare) with an optional manicure by their child. There was also the opportunity for all the hard working mums to take a break and be waited on by their child in a traditional Devonshire Tea. Students were able to given their precious mum an intricate paper flower they made in Art as a small memento of the afternoon.
Everyone was having a lovely time and the staff would love to thank everyone who was involved.
