~ All About Me Scavenger Hunt ~

Lucky you! You're going on a Scavenger Hunt, but not one in the playground, your back yard or the park. This one is done on the Internet so sharpen up those skimming, scanning and search skills. We're going to find out more about YOU. Record everything neatly and carefully in your special "All About Me" booklet.

Draw a picture of your birthstone. Pay particular attention to size, shape and colour.

6. Chinese New Year Calendar

The Chinese Calendar is based on the cycles of the moon. A complete cycle takes 60 years and is made up of five cycles of 12 years each.  Each 12 years is named after an animal and the Chinese believe the animal has a profound influence on the personality. They have a saying: "This is the animal that hides in your heart".

Go to the Chinese Calendar to find out about your good points, not so good points and another person born in the same year as you.

8. Wacky Web Tales

Choose a title that appeals and select it. It will take you to a new page. You need to fill in the blanks using the guide on the left. Use the green "Parts Of Speech Help" to assist you. When you're done, click on the "See Your Wacky Web Tale" box.

Highlight your story and right click to select "Copy". Minimise any windows and navigate to select a Word document. Right click to select "Paste". You may enhance your story by changing the font and/or size and insert a border before you print. Then illustrate your Wacky Web Tale.
