School Events

Dampier Primary School is a close-knit community who celebrate the success of all students. We hold a number of events each year to build a positive school culture.

Bush Dance

Bush Dance is held close to WA Day each year. The purpose of this fun event is to allow time for students to learn a bush dance and learn about Australian culture when early settlers arrived. Parents and family members join in with the fun, also learning the dance and participating with their child.

Presentation Night

To celebrate the end of each year, we hold an annual Presentation Night. Each class performs a dance that matches the chosen school theme and book awards are awarded to students. We also discover who will be our next school leaders at this event.
